Hey Stitch Cutie,
It is Day 33 of Stitch365! Today’s tip build on why we use Sulky Threads … there are so many reasons but one is that they stay nice and tidy! Find out why:
Isn’t that great? Simply pop the top or bottom of any Sulky spool and you have instant thread tail storage. No more messy strings falling out of your thread case!
But what if you don’t have Sulky threads with the handy pop top? We have a bonus tip for you! Simpy but a small piece of vinyl that you would find at your local quilt shop or big box sewing shop and wrap it around the spool. You can buy the thin clear vinyl and easily cut strips with your rotary cutter. Take a look at how I use this method to keep my embroidery threads tidy:
Before the Clear Vinyl
Isn’t this just a messy mess of thread tails hanging out everywhere? This doesn’t inspire you to move forward on your project … it makes you want to close the lid and run away!
After the Clear Vinyl
What a relief! Tidy threads ready to use and easy to see the colors. This makes you want to move forward on your project and see it come to life!
Doesn’t that make a huge difference? No matter what type of thread you have, today’s tip should help you get your thread tails under control!
And before we close out today’s Stitch365 post, here is the coupon for today only!
