Test Your Hoop Size for the Happy Place Block of the Month

  1. Log in to your account at stitchesoflovequilting.com.

  2. Navigate to the Downloads section.

  3. Click on Happy Place 8″ x 12″ Embroidery Hoop Size Test Files to download the ZIP file.

  4. Unzip the file, then copy the correct format for your machine onto a USB/thumb drive.

  5. Insert the USB into your embroidery machine and open the test file.

  6. Hoop a piece of scrap fabric or stabilizer and attach your hoop to the machine.

  7. Load any color thread.

  8. Stitch the design—it will sew two straight lines marking the maximum size required for the Happy Place embroidery blocks.

✅ If the file stitches successfully, your 8″ x 12″ hoop is ready for Happy Place!
🚫 If the file doesn’t appear on your machine, your current hoop is too small. No worries—your machine may support a larger hoop size. Contact your local dealer to find the right one for you!
