Block of the Month and Order Policies
We strive to be your place of happiness and creativity and we want you to enjoy all the projects you complete with us.
When you join a Stitches of Love Block of the Month or Club, you agree that you have:
- Read what is included in each box. These details are located on the product description of every Block of the Month, Club or project listing.
- Read the machine/method requirements (IE sewing machine applique vs embroidery machine applique vs hand embroidery, etc) and are purchasing your desired version of the Block of the Month, Club or project. Please submit a support ticket if you have any questions before you purchase any Block of the Month, Club or project.
- Read the embroidery machine hoop requirements (if applicable) and have the proper hoop available for your embroidery machine. Most Block of the Month, Club and project hoop size requirements are 8” by 12”. Hoop requirements are located on the product description of every applicable Block of the Month, Club or project listing. A test file is also available for free.
- Submitted your correct personal data including name, email address, billing address, shipping address, etc.
- Submitted the correct quantity of Block of the Month, Club or items on your original order.
And will:
- Remain a member for the duration of your selected Block of the Month or Club. We ask that you not cancel your membership as we create an entire series of boxes for your project. Your cancellation leaves us with an incomplete Block of the Month Kit or Club that we cannot sell to anyone else.
- Keep your payment method current and updated.
- Keep Your address current and updated.
- Check all contents of your Block of the Month, Club or project and notify us of any errors within 30 days of delivery. We try very hard not to make any errors, but if we do we will correct them when notified promptly.
- Download your embroidery files (if applicable) each month and save them in a safe place that you can access yourself indefinitely. (Cloud storage such as Dropbox, Box, etc is recommended.) Your embroidery files are accessible at StitchesofLoveQuilting.com only while your Block of the Month or Club membership is active.
- Be kind to our amazing team of ladies when you reach out to support. (We are all people who want to help, no robots work here!)
Address Change Policy
You can easily update your address within your account at StitchesofLoveQuilting.com. Simply click on My Account -> Addresses -> Edit (next to your billing or shipping address) Click the checkbox for Update the address for all of my subscriptions before saving.
Please change your address at least two week before your upcoming renewal to ensure the new address is used on your upcoming shipment. When your box does renew, please check your email receipt and ensure your new address is listed. If it is not correct on your email receipt, your box will not ship to the correct address.
If you do not change your address two weeks prior to your renewal, your box will be shipped to the address you originally entered. You will need to reach out to your local post office directly to see if you can intercept your box. Typically the USPS local post office does not forward boxes. We are not responsible for items shipped to the wrong address due to an address change failure. You can purchase a replacement box with the following discount:
- A Girl’s Life: Boxes 1 – 12 = 15% discount. Box 13 = 10% discount.
- A Boy’s Life: Boxes 1 – 12 = 15% discount. Box 13 = 10% discount. (If available, this club was discontinued.)

PLEASE NOTE: The United States Postal Service does not forward boxes and may not properly hold boxes. Please do not rely on a forwarding address with the USPS and please do not ask them to hold your boxes. We are happy to change your address temporarily and we are happy to place your Block of the Month Membership on pause. We are not responsible for lost packages due to forwarding or holding of mail. Please reach out to us before your trip, your move or your seasonal address change and we will be more than happy to change your address or pause your boxes.
Automatic Renewal Policy
Your Block of the Month or Club will renew on a set day each month for a specific amount. Pricing details including the renewal date, renewal amount and sign up fee are listed on each Block of the Month or Club product listing directly under the title. For example: “$32.99 on the 2nd of each month for 14 months and a $5.00 sign-up fee.” In this example, you will pay $5.00 upon checkout to reserve your spot in the Block of the Month and then on the 2nd of each month you will automatically be charged $32.99 for a total of 14 months. Your original Block of the Month or Club receipt that is emailed to you will list the renewal date, renewal amount and sign up fee. You will also receive an email receipt of your renewal each month for the duration of your membership.
You can easily update your payment method within your account at StitchesofLoveQuilting.com. Simply click on My Account -> Subscriptions -> View -> Change Payment. Enter your new payment details on the checkout page. Click the checkbox for Update the payment method for all of my subscriptions before saving if you have more than one subscription.
If your payment failed and you need to update your payment information simply click on My Account -> Subscriptions -> View -> Scroll down to the most recent renewal listed and select Pay. Enter your payment info on the checkout page and your renewal will take place immediately. Update your payment info for other subscriptions that did not have a failed payment using the Change Payment method outlined above.
You are welcome to use any Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover backed Debit or Credit Card. Please note we are phasing out PayPal as a payment option beginning on March 23, 2022 and it will no longer be offered as a method of payment at checkout or upon updating/changing payment information.
Our goal is to ship all Block of the Month or Club renewals within 5 business days of the date of automatic renewal. All renewals are automated which further protects the security of your credit/debit card or PayPal transaction. We do not have access to your card numbers in any way and therefore rely on the automated schedule to process transactions. Your renewal does reserve your kit in the queue and ensures you will receive your box. If there is a delay of any kind due to increased demand, a delay in materials, etc we will update you via the Support page at StitchesofLoveQuilting.com. Simply visit our website and click Support -> Block of the Month Category -> Shipping Updates. Thank you for understanding that while we work incredibly close with all of our vendors and plan purchases with them 9-12 months in advance, that delays are still possible.
We automatically send twelve failed payment reminders over the course of seven days following your failed renewal payment. We also reach out directly to let you know that your payment failed and your Block of the Month or Club box is unable to ship to you. After two failed monthly renewals we will remove you from the Block of the Month or Club membership and cannot guarantee that you will be able to receive your remaining boxes should you desire to rejoin the club. No refunds will be issued on shipped boxes. The sign up fee is non refundable.
We will reach out directly if your original Block of the Month or Club order has a 2 or more quantity. This is to ensure you do indeed wish to have multiples of said Block of the Month or Club each month. If you do not reply within 14 days or before your next renewal, the quantity will remain at the level of which you placed your order. No refunds.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you remain a member for the duration of your selected Block of the Month or Club as we create an entire series of boxes for your project. Your cancellation leaves us with an incomplete Block of the Month Kit or Club that we cannot sell to anyone else.
We understand that life happens, though. If you need to pause your membership, please submit a Support Ticket and we can temporarily pause your membership for up to three months. This way you get to complete your project and we are not left with an incomplete Block of the Month or Club kit/series.
If you must cancel due to unavoidable issues, please cancel your membership at least two weeks prior to your upcoming renewal to ensure the upcoming renewal and shipment are canceled. If you cancel after a renewal, even if it is the same day, it will charge and will ship to you. No exceptions.
All Block of the Month and Club payments and shipments are final. No refunds will be given or returns accepted for any renewals prior to cancellation. All sign up fees are final. All sales on any embroidery file memberships are final.
All notions, threads and pattern sales are final, non-cancelable and non-refundable. All Pre-Order Sales are final, non-cancelable and non-refundable.
Embroidery File Policy
You will receive access within your account on StitchesofLoveQuilting.com to download your embroidery files. You will simply login to your account, click on Memberships and then click on the Block of the Month Name. This page will contain your zip file for each block listed on your product listing. (Note that some blocks do not have embroidery files due to the size of the block.) You must know how to unzip a folder, locate your embroidery file type and load it onto your USB drive or transfer it to your embroidery machine. Contact your embroidery machine dealer if you need help working your embroidery machine.
You must have the hoop size listed in the product listing or your embroidery file(s) will not load properly onto your machine. Most machines will not even display a file if the proper size hoop is not attached to the arm of the machine or if your machine does not accept a large enough hoop. Contact your embroidery machine dealer if you need a larger hoop.
File types available are: dst, emd, exp, hus, jef, pes, vip, vp3, xxx.
The use of embroidery files is for your personal use only. Copyright infringements will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You may make customizations or changes to the files for your own personal use only. You may not share or resell the embroidery files. No support is provided for making changes to the files or for the files after you’ve made changes for your personal use.
No refunds are given under any circumstances for digital or embroidery files or memberships containing digital or embroidery files.
Replacement and Exchange Policy

We take great pride in each and every Block of the Month, Club or project that we kit and ship. All boxes shipped are audited. This means that the pre-fused, laser cut applique pieces were quality checked and all cut fabrics were quality checked. If a mistake did occur, we will make it right for you. You must notify us within 30 days of receipt of your package that an item was incorrect or missing. Support will ask for a picture of any damaged or incorrect items to assess the cause and determine replacements. If damage was caused by no fault of Stitches of Love, the replacement pricing outlined above will be applicable.
Please note that fabric replacements may differ over time or may not be available. Any and all substitutions will be chosen and approved by the designer.
All Block of the Month, Club, Kit, Embroidery/Digital and Pre-Order sales are final. No exceptions. However, if you order the wrong notion or thread, we can accept a return and you can then purchase the correct item on a new order. We will accept an exchange on a notion or thread only if we are notified within 30 days of your receipt of the order. You can ship back the notion or thread at your expense. Upon receipt of the unused, undamaged, unopened notion or thread, we will ship you the intended item plus shipping. We will issue a refund if the replacement item(s) is of lesser value and we will automatically charge your card if the replacement item(s) is of greater value.
Backordered items cannot be cancelled once they’ve entered the shipping queue or have been shipped.
Shipping Policy
All packages from StitchesofLoveQuilting.com are shipped via UPS Mail Innovations in conjunction with the United States Postal Service. Once UPS Mail Innovations/USPS have taken possession of a shipment from us, we no longer have control over the path or time it takes for a package to arrive. (We don’t own UPS or the post office … if we did, all the quilting boxes would get priority!)
You will receive an automated email with a clickable tracking number for each Block of the Month, Club or project shipment.The subject line will be “Your order has been shipped.” The email will contain a clickable tracking number as well as your order number, the carrier name (UPS Mail Innovations/USPS) and the ship date. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for UPS Mail Innovations/USPS to update the information associated with tracking when it first enters their system. You will also receive an email confirming delivery of your order. This way if you are away from your home at the time of delivery, you know to check for it in your mailbox when you get home or you may ask a friend to retrieve it for you.
The UPS Mail Innovations/USPS continues to experience a higher than normal shipping volume that began during the Covid 19 pandemic and continues to report staffing shortages well into 2023. Therefore, packages may be rerouted or take longer than expected to arrive. A delayed package will be notated on your tracking and you can contact USPS.com directly for updates. We will not replace delayed packages as they will arrive. Exception: if a package shows no movement for more than 14 business days, we will provide a replacement with a return label included so that you can return the delayed box when it does arrive. If you do not return the delayed package and tracking shows it was delivered after the delay, you will be charged for the replacement.
If tracking shows your order was delivered, but you did not receive it, you must reach out to your local post office directly. It is best to contact your local USPS station directly if your item was not received as they will have information provided by the courier on your route. For example, “Item left on back porch” or “Item at local post office for pick up.” You can locate your local post office, track a package, report a missing package and more at USPS.com. You can also purchase a replacement Block of the Month or Club Box with the following discount:

UPS Mail Innovations/USPS is the main shipping service used by StitchesofLoveQuilting.com.
International Shipping is no longer offered due to rising costs, limited tracking and lost packages.
General Policy
All Block of the Month and Club payments and shipments are final. No refunds will be given or returns accepted for any renewals prior to cancellation. All sign up fees are final. All sales on any embroidery file memberships are final.
All notions, threads and pattern sales are final, non-cancelable and non-refundable. All Pre-Order Sales are final, non-cancelable and non-refundable.
Block of the Month orders cannot be combined into one box. No discount is available for multiple orders of a specific or different Block of the Month, Club or any other order. Complete Block of the Month or Club boxes cannot be shipped at once or ahead of time.
A $20.00 fee will be charged to any person who files a credit card fraud report where Stitches of Love Quilting is found to be in the right, not the wrong.
