This is the recommended batting for use with your Quilts on the Floor Rugs. You will need two Throw Size packages to make all 12 rugs. One package is enough for six rugs.

Quilters Dream 80/20 is made with 80% high grade long staple USA cotton fiber paired with 20% fine denier poly microfiler for a soft, silky batting that breathes well. The long staple cotton fiber reduces shrinkage and adds stability so that stitches can be up to 8″ apart. We do, though, recommend you quilt your Quilts on the Floor Rugs with stitches no more than 2″ apart.

How to cut this Throw Size Batting for your Quilts on the Floor Rugs:

  • You need a piece for each rug that is 30″ by 18″. This batting is 60″ by 60″.
  • Simply cut the batting in half so that it measures 30″ by 60″.
  • Cut each 30″ by 60″ piece into three 30″ by 18″ pieces.
  • You will have a total of six batting pieces to use on your rugs.
  • You will need two of these Throw Size Batting packages to complete all 12 rugs.
