Tips for Using the Triangle Templates in our Santa Mug Rug Pattern

Did you know that the Santa Mug Rug Pattern is Go! friendly? That’s right! You can use the accuquilt Go! Triangles in Square – 2″ finished die. We are huge fans of the Go! because it does make life easier…you just plop some fabric on the die, turn the crank and viola, you have perfect pieces! If you don’t have a Go!, though, don’t worry, the pattern comes with the template you need to make your 2″ finished triangles in square pieces. Spoolie Quilts Are Fun To Make!

You are probably just as big a fan of Thimble Blossoms as I am. In fact, the very first quilt book I ever received was Camille’s first book, Simplify. Julie, aka my mom, was insistent that I learn to read patterns so I could better write patterns. Until a few years ago I refused to read a pattern and would just sew what I wanted. I have been hooked ever since the first time I opened the Simplify book....

Merry Chirstmas Festivities and Greetings

Merry Christmas Eve! Did you wake up feeling excited about Christmas? I sure did! I was up wrapping and working on binding last night and the second the clock struck midnight I had to run downstairs to wish Steven a Merry Christmas Eve and call Mom (Julie) to wish her a Merry Christmas Eve, too! All the rest of our family has much better sleep habits so I had to wait until this morning to call them… I hope that you are having an absolutely wonderful Christmas season this year.
