Pre-fused, laser cut applique pieces are a huge time saver for applique enthusiasts. The applique pieces are already fused with Heat N Bond Lite and then precisely cut to the exact shape you need.
First, Heat N Bond Lite is fused to the back of 100% Quilt Shop Cotton Fabric (for example Moda Fabrics, Riley Blake Fabrics, etc) using large format heat presses. We have the heat presses pre-programmed to a specific temperature and each press is timed to the second. This ensures that each fabric comes out perfectly fused.
Second, the fused fabric enters the laser queue. We have three industrial laser cutters operating all day, every day. The fused fabric is loaded into a laser cutter and then a cut file is sent to the laser. The laser cuts precise shapes that exactly match your Applique Placement Guide in your Stitches of Love Pattern. Highly trained laser operators check all pieces to make sure they are perfect before they are sent over to our Kitting Team.
Finally, each piece needed for your kit is placed in a clear bag and then packed in a cute box so it can make its way to you!
